TITLE
Beyond Subjective and Objective, Beyond Human: Mysticism, Truth, and Other Speculations.

ABSTRACT
In 2019 I wrote a very speculative essay on psychedelic substances, mysticism, and the nature of reality. In it I argued that mystical experiences allow one to glimpse into the fundamental Unity of everything. The essay was entertaining, but the argument itself mediocre. Either way, that essay is the reason why I am here. Four years have passed. Since then I moved to a different country and I finished a Master degree. My Master’s thesis touched on the same topics as that essay: mystical experiences and what they can tell us about Reality, if anything at all. In this talk I look back at my essay from 2019 and assess it in light of what I have learned in the past four years.
